Hi, I'm working on a story taking place in the world of modern F1 and wondered if I could draw on the collective wisdom of the forum to help me a bit. It's much appreciated, and hopefully it can be an interesting discussion.
I am interested in what constitutes a race weekend from a team-member's point of view (could be a driver's, mechanic's, or team director's point of view). Things like team strategy meetings, track walks, even PR meetings. All of the work that goes on around the race. Does anyone have any knowledge about what this looks like or what kind of communication is going on within the team? Maybe ideas about what a team's meeting schedule for a weekend looks like. Also things like communicating with their home base, fabricating last-second parts, having them shipped etc.
Maybe someone has a link to a blog or diary of some team member or a good interview.
Thanks!
