Any formula to get the optimum flywheel balance?

Do anyone know the formula to get the optimum flywheel balance?
The flywheel is set to rotate in vertical axis on vehicle and the diameter is 0.2m.
So I'm trying to figure out what is the optimum thickness of flywheel to achieve greatest balancing due to lateral acceleration created by vehicle turning.
