F1 Garage Design/Layouts/Manufacturers

Post

Hi, I've just started a new project building all the F1 garages for a racing game.
I'm having a hard time tracking down information and details for all the garage layouts.
I know there are many photo's of the garages around the web, but I'm trying to get hold of specific details for each team/garage

So far all I have been able to find is Prolyte seem to be Redbulls garage design (or was in (2010).

http://www.prolyte.com/case-studies/mar ... toro-rosso

Can anyone suggest links for the other teams ?

They all seem to use a generic type of roller tool/drawer units in the garages, but I can't find the manufacturer of these either.

It's early days but any links/help would be appreciated, it's difficult getting accurate layouts from photo's.

thanks

Here are links to some related threads, but as you've pointed out you're asking for something slightly different. (which is why they've not been merged)

The majority of teams use Lista cabinets in the garages.

What game is this for?

Fantastic Link for the Lista cabinets!

Detailed pdf's and measurements.....a modelers dream :)

After a bit of searching discovered HRT use Sarralle (Thanks for the link richard leeds)

http://www.sarralle.com/corporativo/en/ ... productos/

The game is Geoff Crammonds GP4, an old game engine I know, but fully accessible and moddable.
I love attention to detail so it will be more arch vis than game.
The current standard of models in the game is pretty basic, so I'm upping the ante ;)

Here'a a few WIP screenies of the Redbull layout....

So far I've only been able to find one manufacturer of the Paneling Systems for the team garages, Redbull use Prolyte.
Other than Redbull, Mclaren and Ferrari the rest seem to be pretty generic, so hopefully it won't be to hard to track them down.

Thanks again for the links.

Your pics don't seem to show up on my PC. Here are the links for others.

I have experience that some teams prohibit their suppliers from even saying they are a supplier in case it conflicts with a sponsor.

So I guess the top team will have kit sourced from a standard manufacturer but adjusted to fit the requirements of the interior designers & team sponsors.

Similarly, I have experience of a major UK football team changing the buttons on the laundry equipment at their training ground to match the team colours. They also removed the manufacturer's logo because it clashed with an sponsor that made household goods.

Yup, your right, it seems all teams have some kind of bespoke design arrangement, the secretive nature of F1 is frustrating when all I'm interested in is aesthetics.
Information is practically non-existent for most teams, so I'm having to rely on 3rd party photographs for most of the designs.
The best solution is for me to visit an F1 event and take the photo's myself, it's difficult to find pictures of "empty" garages, there are usually tons of engineers blocking the view :x
Oh well, it's like a jigsaw, I'm getting bits from here and there and having to leave sections until I find good reference photo's.
I was hoping for an easy route, but with hindsight, it seems the worst place to look is the source of the design.
