Need quick advice for the next few Grands Prix

Post

I live in the United States and my current issue is with the 'FOX' network.
My digital cable provider, within the last week, has recently been bought out by Time Warner cable, and the traditional FOX network has been axed from the channel line-up.

This has coincidentally fallen on the first of the next four grands prix being presented on FOX in the USA.
While I can watch the practice, quali, and prerace sessions on SPEED still, as of now I have no way of watching any of the next four races from here in America.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Any German speaking broadcasts are welcome as well.
Thanks in advance.

I checked the Speed schedule and I think at 11:30 PM Eastern time they will show the race. I am not sure what it will be like, if it's a recap or if it's the full thing, or whatever. It is also on Tuesday at 12:30 PM Eastern.

It is scheduled for 2 hours so at the least if you can't find anything else it should show a good portion.

Someone might have to some research into this but I think ESPN (or was it called TSN) do the F1 races and should be availible in America.

TSN is in Canada. They show the races live, usually with BBC commentary and without any pre-race or post-race content (even press conferences). I doubt that's of much help to the OP though. I don't think ESPN has done F1 for a long time.

You could just watch them on one of the streaming websites, but I don't know if that contravenes the rules around here. Not exactly HD or anything but better than live timing.

The replay on Speed will be a full replay. I've relied upon it a number of times when I couldn't quite coax myself to get out of bed at ridiculous-thirty for a race in Whereistan.

You just have to pretty much avoid the Internet until after you've seen the race if you want to preserve any level of suspense.

I got a good laugh out of that! But I know exactly what you mean, Formula1.com is my homepage on my browser, so I can't even open up my computer unless I want to ruin the race for myself. Not to mention following formula 1 news outlets on twitter will ruin the race pretty quick as well.
Thanks for the advice and ideas everyone, I'm sure I can figure something out.

Change your homepage to F1technical.net or ban.... 8)

And same here though, I've had to rely on Speed's replays plenty of times since getting up or staying up for a 5-6am race wasn't feasible. But I could never hold back on seeing the results, so the race isn't quite the thriller anymore.

Speed always replays a race if it starts before 8am EST. I often rely on it.
