I'll believe it when I see it. I also kind of liked the fact that Singapore was the only night race - the novelty wears thin if there are two (and potentially three if Australia gives in) night races on the calendar. I would also hope that it is more Albert Park than Monaco in terms of track layout.

if we gonna have another night race, i don't want a boring street circuit. Don't moto gp have qatar which is a proper track? Whats that like? If we have another night race, i want a proper track.

I have no clue how the organizer is going handle the traffic in bangkok if they are shutting streets for F1.

Since it was brought up in the Singapore thread....

...I would be up for a Thailand night race if it was designed to be a challenging race track, not a glamour shot where it's more albert park or montreal than Monaco or Valencia (as astracrazy put it), with half to 1/4 the wattage of Singapore.

Have a pseudo-dark race where each team is subsidized by the FOM or whoever to create special front/rear packages that have lights in them, so that they're an godly mix between F1 and LMP.

F1 cars, racing through the night on barely lit high-speed circuits peering through the dark on flat beams of white LED light, avoiding the thin, red lines out the rear of other cars, and the grandstands being outlined by rows of LEDs marking the edges and exit paths.

Imagine an entire field of F1 cars laying down beams of light like Tron. Something like in Cars 2

THAT would be the highlight of my season.
