Building my race car

Post

Hi there. ive been racing for a few years here in Mexico in this Vw beetle class. photos here:

https://picasaweb.google.com/100271748258555931586

but now the rulebook has changed and we all going to use this chassis fabricated for the series.
Image
it has the seat in the middle and the rear suspension is no longer like OEM .
by rulebook we all going to use the same rear bilstein shocks with eibach 400lbs springs....

other than that is tearing my car apart and putting everything on the chassis.. what recomendations/tips can you give me ?

im particularly loking for tips on:
Chassis-bodywork assembly.. it has 3 screws on each side but its not a perfect match so what can i do to seal the cockpit ?

Suspension - weight at the rear is high and very low at the front what could i do to improve this ? (front suspnesion tuning ?)

Aero - i need to reduce as much drag as possible

any other tip or suggestion!

thanks!

You can seal between the sheet metal with a few tubes of bathroom silicone calking.
