(KVRC)MercuryMotorsport Car

Post

Hi every one.
Going to use this post to show you my car for the KVRC competition. The AB01-13
As you can see the car is quite basic at the moment but does have a few personal touches that i think will benefit.

some good ideas there be interesting to see if they work. sidepods look bit small but you should be fine.

Very nice! Curious to see how it performs.
But what about the beam wing?

thought someone would have picked up on that.. i did the render then realized it must have been hidden in Sketchup. it does have one.

Well the car did OK in the first race but the changes that were made for the Monza race seem to have sent me down the order a bit. i think the monza updates were a bit rushed and did not benefit the car at all.
I have now made a few changes to the car with the hope of making up at least one place if not two.

For the last race at silverstone i have done the following:

Changed the nosecone and front wing pylons
changed the shape of the side pods at the undercut below the exhaust
running the monza rearwing fences but the original rearwing
also added a flow director/conditioner under the airbox.

Work will now start on the 2014 regulations and creating a whole new car.
