April Fools? Red Bull to be powered by Red Bull PU?

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

Without doubt it's an April fools. These engines take years to develop for highly experienced companies with hundreds of millions to spend. Red Bull don't have the expertise even if they could technically afford it.

There's a small chance they'll switch to Honda, but the most likely scenario is that they'll still be using Renault engines in three years time.

I would like to think that Nissan could take a shot at building an F1 engine. However, even with money being no object, you simply can't make engineers magically work faster. Starting a project in January and finishing in June is un-human. Maybe they hired aliens?

FIA will let them use as much fuel as they want because they are green - it runs on lemonade and the exhaust smells like caramel. Roumours say it will be able to give the car wings but it remains unclear whether they will be used for downforce or flying.
