OK, yes, you are correct, R to L for when text is vertical. This perception of R to L can change how you "read" pictures, e.g.
Hokusai's "Great Wave" (ok, "Under the Wave off Kanagawa" to be more exact). Are the boats running from the wave or heading straight into it ?
Judging by what is discernible of the boat/oarsmen, it appears the boats are heading into the wave. However all this does not alter the fact that Honda have blindly carried over from the early KERS years an excusable mistake made back then. (likely as not influenced by some of the teams adopting centrifuge KERS).
Think torque curves; vertical electric as opposed to ICE and mix it in your mind with the power to weight ratio. There’s two, three tenths begging there. The KERS motor, or call it what you want, really ought be at the rear of the engine, not crippled at the front.
