hello everyone,
i would like please to know how and from where is the camber of wheels controlled in a formula 1 car ? is it on the upright ? or is the ride height dampers that would squeeze the upright to the inside when lowering the ride height ?
ahhh shims !! well ok so the shims could be to adjust the length of the upper suspension armJersey Tom wrote:Typically on any car with this suspension arrangement, camber is adjusted by shims. These can be where the control arm attaches to the upright, or to the chassis.
