So he's on engine 3 then?
My understanding was that he took engine no.1 from Australia to Barcelona and then took the upgraded Renault engine for Monaco onwards. However, he is shown on the FIA official release as being on ICE, TC, MGU-K, MGU-H no 3. After a bit of digging, he took these all in Austria

RB have another 4 tenths on their power unit since Spain
If it's a wet session I reckon RB would be the car to be in at Silverstone

Ferrari I'm not sure, although I'm sure I've read previously so they like fast corners
I have some hope for an exciting weekend at the front of the race
Ferrari have 4 tenths since canada and new fuel and i tokens worth of engine upgrades since Austria. Based on last year Williams may well crash the party.
My guess is Mercedes...Ferrari ............Red bull/Williams
I think Ferrari can be a Little bit closer this year. I would like to see Vettel in the second position which would add more interest to the race.

I think we all know Silverstone pretty well, but here's a nice aerial-based overview of the circuit.

Renault found in a test bed that the new engine of monaco had a structural problem that would prevent it to go the full length of its life.
They did the correction but only had two available, one for Ric and one for Mag. I would imagine both the other two Renault PU drivers will get it this race since that PU might be unstable.

I do wonder if the corrections took some performance out of the PU to compensate with reliability. Ric seem slower this race than Ves, way slower than all the others. Even if Ves is of course an impressive driver I thought that would be a bit too much

I know it's early doors and Mclaren usually get the car dialed in fast on a Friday - but that's an impressive time from Alonso in P1 - 4 seconds faster than their fastest race lap last year and a second quicker than their qualifying lap.

If someone is running a screen capture program 10:45BST there's some great slow-mo footage of the McLaren showing both Y250 vortices running along the floor from a rear shot on the car, be great for the tech thread.

No, he did one stint on fresh mediums and two stints on used mediums.
