very good times if its true from alonso matching on sector 2 the top teams ..i think the track with high brake zone at the end of s/f straight and after first 3 corners straight help for not loose so much on sector 1 ..and the car its not only 100hp less from top engines...the gap its 130-160hp ..on quali mod ..with mix of downforce levels...renault have 45-60hp less from mercedes and 60-80 more than honda ..its my calculate
:D. I think the gap is 134.76hp.....based on my television viewing.

It won't be long before the first people claim the power deficit to be 200+ bhp.

I certainly hope so. I just hope a good engine doesn't expose weaknesses in the chassis

btw does anyone have access to the leader board for fp2 with all sector times? all I can find is final lap times

I'll bite. This bloke I met down the pub told me that his friend has a cousin who once ate a meal at the same restaurant as Alonso's personal trainer and he said that apparently they're actually 202 bhp down on even the Renault 😉
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

This current gap with that much power difference, I cant imagine how kind of dominance will come from McLaren Honda when Honda make equally powerful engine.

I think that's wishful thinking. if I've learned anything this season so far, it's not to do that
