Its great to have France and Germany back. Both tracks are good(at least Paul Ricard is better and Hockenheim is not bad if I forget how glorious the old Hockenheimring was).

I will miss Malaysia. The track was excellent and the weather used to give an extra point to the race.

Still find it logistically strange to have the Canadian GP in between the Monaco GP and French GP. :wtf:

Could be. There was no mention of it in the link I provided, which is on the official site, and the table was prefixed by the statement "The approved 2018 schedule in full."

I have thought it has been strange for years that Canada happens between Monaco and the other European races.
Anyone know why its not before USA and Mexico weather would still be fine

It used to be right before the USA Grand Prix. I remember in 2007 they were back to back...
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

i thought it had something to do with the actualy possibility to have the race there, also paired to events in north america that would take away interest compared to other weekends.

in other words; they could put it on another date that would perhaps logistically make more sense, but then there's nobody who's gonna pay attention because F.E. there's the superbowl.
