What testing is happening today? Saw Valtteri's instagram story at Paul Ricard?

It was the wet weather tire test for Pirelli.

I have read an article about the pre-season testing on tyres for pirelli and the pirelli's sporting director mario isola said that the test had given them a definite sense about the gaps or delta between each tyre, also pirelli has introduced a new hypersoft tyre to the range available to teams this year.

Will wider wings without cascade sand simpler endplates in 2019 be able to generate equal downforce with the current wings?

It'll be interesting to see whether Ferrari and Mercedes pursue 2019 concepts or focus on the 2018 title chase.

No, probably a bit less which will be balanced out in total by the larger rear wing. Cars may have more understeer, lap times should be similar to this year.

Could they not have restricted the front wing to have only 3 elements? There are still way too many elements on that wing.
