IMHO, not only those squared fins look fugly, but having every car on the grid using the very same design is quite boring.
If the FIA wants to push mandatory designs, they should do it on parts that don't make cars look this similar.
Good chance this will play in Mercedes’ hands because of their choice to use the flow under the wishbones to manage airflow instead what goes over them like the other top teams (with their very high wishbone design and small nose).
