I suspect Mercedes also gained some rear traction in de the suspension design. They were burning rear tyres during the races in 2013. They seem to manage it in 2014-2018, but this year they are so quick in slow corners. Redbull suspension designers have some homework to do.
The Mercedes grip and acceleration out off corners has nothing to do with suspension. It's what’s in the differential that sets them apart from all others presently. Ferrari had similar last year but sadly it slipped away from them!

No news in this article except the last sentence, which sounds good.

https://sportiva.shueisha.co.jp/clm/mot ... _split_10/

 ホンダの優勝は、もうすぐそこまで来てはいる。だが、その頂点までの最後の一歩は、決して容易な一歩ではなさそうだ。

"Honda's victory is coming up soon. But the last step to the top is by no means an easy step."

More and more statements indicate that Honda is coming to Canada with a new spec with a major upgrade.
I assume that more power will be released gradually.
If a victory was only up to the engine performance, Ferrari would have been winning all the races this year.

More power will certainly help RBR. Though if Merc is still superior in low speed traction they will still run away in Canada. Unfortunately it was difficult to judge how much (if any) RBR closed the gap in this area in Monaco as Max did not put a proper Q3 time, and Merc were just controlling the race from star to end

yes Helmut was saying Mercedes have the best traction wasn't he, with their new rear suspension geometry, and Canada is so much about traction

After reading the whole article two things are clear: 1. Honda is carried away for Monaco result, they´re aware that be so close to Mercedes was due to Hamilton tires, not comparable pace. 2. They are working really hard to close the gap, but I don´t see any indication that Canada is where they are going to bring a major upgrade.

My question is when Mobil Exxon will bring an upgrade in their fuels and lubricants.

I think they will bring fuel update with the "Spec 3". At least, makes more sense to me to bring it with a upgraded PU that is "focused" on performance. But we will see

Red Bull opens the market: they want Hulkenberg if they don't renew their confidence in Gasly

In the Principality there was a first contact with the German who at the end of the year will see his contract with Renault expire. Marko and Horner would be happy to make a trip to the transalpine brand, especially since Nico goes as Ricciardo and Milton Keynes know the value of Daniel.

During the weekend of Monte Carlo, a first indiscretion involving the top-team drivers market was leaked, and the pairing surprised not a little.

These are approaches aimed at having "backup" solutions ready if not in the plans of a top team everything should go as planned.

As per tradition, the pilots who approach Red Bull and Toro Rosso do not have much time to convince Helmut Marko to claim the investment made, and at this time Pierre Gasly has not yet reached the 'comfort zone' of those who can look to future with full optimism.

The Frenchman confirmed a step in the right direction starting from the Baku race, but something more is needed to navigate in calm waters, and it is not really easy when his teammate is called Max Verstappen, a confrontation that would be challenging for all riders present in Formula 1.

Mercedes, Racing Point and Williams will introduce in Canada the first evolution of the Mercedes engine in this Season!
➡️ Mercedes will introduce its new Power Unit being the closest to the goal of durability, at least 7 races, have been the most reliable so far, Honda introduced after 3 races and Ferrari and Renault after 4 races, some to improve reliability as is the case of Renault and others to get more performance as is the case of Red Bull and Ferrari!
➡️The new Mercedes power unit will bring 20HP of improvement, which will make it happen again of the barrier of 1000HP in addition to the oil restrictions in the regulations, the maximum in 2018 were around 1030HP!
I am sure that the Honda upgrade will be much bigger. Hopefully also in Canada.

20hp would be awesome for Mercedes, doubt it's that big, but coming from Mercedes, everything is possible #-o

LOL, seem like someone from RB actually reads this board!
I've suggested to hire the Hulk few weeks back. Gasly is a lost case...

It is not good idea to take Hulk to main team. If things with Gasly keep going like this, they have to let
Toro Rosso drivers to drive Redbull car inseason tests ( if still there is) and one of current TR driver must win the seat and Gasly must be back TR seat.
