Love the vis paint photos showing the air flow. Im guessing they are prio making sure the mistakes of last season are out of the new car before doing much else

I didn't pay attention to that before, but their airbox doesn't seem to be divided between intake and cooling. Are they sectioning it further back?

I just love how McLaren go from one extreme to the other, from having the smallest airbox to having the largest.

I’m guessing those large cameras are for tyre analysis

Hilarious isn't it.. the FIA ban flaps outside the wheel face, so they recess the "brake duct" into the wheel and put flaps there.
How are they conditioning the air though being directed downwards?
Probably they are conditioning the inward tyre squirt

The guys on sky F1 have been talking about McLaren having a new design to their wheel nuts or axles. Mercedes have been looking at it and said it's and innovation and the management during interviews have been quite coy when asked.

Looking at the above picture their wheel nuts do look slightly different from other cars.

Does any one have any other information on this?

Yeah the woman in the pits said nuts then they asked about axles later. Not sure how visible the axles are on the rear of the car however.

Not going to get to excited as I believe the team won't either but they are doing exactly what is needed, gathering mileage for good knowledge on how the basic package is running. Overall operationally like other's have said team is moving forward nicely now, James Key supposedly starting in March to! great to see pieces of the jigsaw coming together now.
