i think everyone exept the race leader should have drs in all the straights all the time regardless of the distance to the guy in front.
, this wold create a full on specacle until the last lap,
it wold give the guys at the back a chance to start with less weigh in fuel ( lower drag due to drs ) for all to most of the race...
and a chance to have everyone close to the leader and a fight for the win all the way until the last lap.
They might as well at this point, logical continuation of their path towards full-on Mario Kart.

Or No DRS zone, use as you dare...

Or extend it to 1.5 or 2 second when you can open.

And the last driver on the grid should at random intervalls be given a "spin button", shaped as a blue turtle shell, that will always spin the leading car around a couple of times.

But to be serious, I believe being able to drive faster and overtaking should remain two different things. if any driver who can drive faster than someone else manages to overtake the race becomes dull.

This means the highest possible DF level would be required for pole, as any unnecessary drag will be offset by DRS. The race could prove a problem for those who lead against those with less wings.

it could prove a problem for anyone who is in front of anyone else with 3 drs zones and an increased DRS effect for 2019 (wider rear wing). This will be the first track were overtaking actually is possible. (wide & modern track)

I am unsure what to expect, either a ridiculous overtake fest (from which you cannot defend, but OK, next lap you can then overtake again), or exciting racing?

Yea, it would be like NASCAR restricter racing on the super speedways, hundreds or thousands of passes a race that are all meaningless until the last 3 or 4 laps.

This is somewhat off-topic, but I caught this in the news this morning and felt it needs to be heard:

Yes, it is good to read it. You must never close your eyes for the reality of the world we live in.

3rd DRS Zone = Overkill

IMO
I am pretty sure that the 2021 regs will see the end of DRS. I find it extremely artificial and unnecessary from the day it was introduced. Not a fan of it, never will be.

This photo gives you a good idea of how abrasive the track surface is at Sakhir:

The FIA has opted to split the senior Formula 1 race official roles held by the late Charlie Whiting for this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix.

I suspect the Mercedes front row are going to go hard to start with and build a gap due to this over the top DRS situation.

The good thing about that is it might force a 2 stop.

I thought there was a truck that "sheared" a few millimeters off the top surface

Okay, so Ferrari thinks the cooling system may have caused their poor Australian performance. Should be an easy fix....no?
