And yea ... it would be just like Indycar where one SC leads into the next ... some of the races are just a bunch of ads interrupted by a string of SCs, but maybe they want to target that audience ... lol
I don't think the directive comes into play if its an actual oil leak.Restomaniac wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:54 amThe way It was reported it was miles outside norms so I imagine not.NL_Fer wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 7:04 pmWas it still within the 0,6l/100km directive?Restomaniac wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 1:18 am

I wasn’t making that point I was just answering the question.SiLo wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:59 amI don't think the directive comes into play if its an actual oil leak.Restomaniac wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:54 amThe way It was reported it was miles outside norms so I imagine not.
In that case, both Ferrari's were definitely illegal !! on lap 66, they were clearly seen running way too low ride height!Restomaniac wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 10:17 amI wasn’t making that point I was just answering the question.SiLo wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:59 amI don't think the directive comes into play if its an actual oil leak.Restomaniac wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:54 amThe way It was reported it was miles outside norms so I imagine not.
TBH I agree with you that if we are going to penalise for an internal failure that causes a retirement then it’s time to give up and go home.

Driver of the race IMO.hollus wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 8:29 pmSome one asked if Sainz had passed anyone on his way to P3.
Well... yes, yes, yes, 8 times yes! onboard video here:

Yeah lovely move.
To me those late dives down the inside are a relative new thing. The old guard like Alonso and even the No 1 driver Hamilton would not attempt that, they would just about always decide to try around the outside once Perez had appeared to cover the inside.TAG wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 8:53 pmDriver of the race IMO.hollus wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 8:29 pmSome one asked if Sainz had passed anyone on his way to P3.

Agree, Carlos said after the race for a moment he thought he´d crash with Perez. Pass of the day

The move on Ricciardo was full of risk, great gutsy move. Round the outside of a car with a broken wing on a super fast corner.
