But you'd make the halo silver so it's like the ring pull on a can of coke. lol

Nothing in F1 is done without reason, what could be possible reasons for this?
I remember when merc and lotus did the blade roll hoop they said the benefit was not aero but weight. I cannot remember was it lower cog or just less mass.the EDGE wrote: ↑17 Jan 2020, 13:51Nothing in F1 is done without reason, what could be possible reasons for this?
Is there a benefit to having a blade roll structure? So the double inlet design depicted by Scarbs would be Mclaren’s tidiest aero solution? Or could the double inlet be the real reason by offering a better aero solution, perhaps for drag or by increasing the effectiveness of the sharkfin?
I wonder if there could be a second raised inlet further behind too, as the side pod inlets have ‘size zero’d’???
That's the effect of the distortion due to the curved reflective surface of the helmet.NathanOlder wrote: ↑17 Jan 2020, 14:14Do those 2 inlets look different in size? One looks higher than the other??
They look a different size in all the pics, not just Carlos reflectionrgava wrote: ↑17 Jan 2020, 15:34That's the effect of the distortion due to the curved reflective surface of the helmet.NathanOlder wrote: ↑17 Jan 2020, 14:14Do those 2 inlets look different in size? You can see the same distortion in Sainz head (which is not as asymetrical as it seems in the image )
Nice idea but no way the second hump could be as large as in seat fix still and behind. I like scarbs drawing but agree one does look larger and perspective would normally mean the larger one should be smaller, interesting
