doubtful Merc will be able to 1stop, I think they are saving these hards so not have to 3stop...

Agree! Their tires seem worn out already.
Even if they try, probably Max can gain enough advantage for an extra pit stop

This is fascinating! Major Achilles heel for Merc here and the red bull looks much superior in this race . This is Max’s for the taking.
I wonder if Liberty might ask Pirelli to go softer on tyres for later races...for the show, of course.

TBH if they did, on the evidence of today then it could really give a huge boost to Red Bull. That car is the best car in these conditions and it’s really intriguing!

15 laps on those? Oh dear...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

No way those tyres are going to go to the end. If they do, anyone around him will be so much faster that he'll getting overtaken by, well, everyone.

What a crazy strategy for Hamilton, seems so risky.

Either that or something like last year when Hamilton reeled Verstappen in on fresh with 10 to go.

Silly rb letting hamilton do his own pace. Why pit when you can cruise till the end?
