It seems like a good way to level the playing field, upping the pressures.
But it smacks of "build the best car you can, but if you do it too well we'll find a way to artificially trip you up".
You will hear this war cry calling for upping pressures and lowering the compound types, until Mercedes changes their setup to conquer that, leaving people disappointed. Haven't we seen this before?

It seems the moderators are going to allow garbage like this to stand so I'll remember this for the future!
It was a nice friendly thread up till then, wasn't it?
More like Hamilton fans didn't have anything to b*itch about until that point. Now they do, and they love it, else they would have ignored that message from godlameroso.
Well if Max / Red Bull fans want to play games I'm sure there are plenty of people are willing to oblige to them!

Yeah, ok. If you say so.

Bottas whenever he's not fighting Lewis he is just napping! Why would you let Verstappen an open door on the inside? Fight him at least...! And even in the end he was nowhere pace wise!

Leclerc is the man...reminds me of Alonso in 2012...unbelievable! How is he managing to always finish in the top-5 with a car that's nowhere near top-5? =D>

Atleast this race should stop people from crying here everyday about how no one can touch Merc
Oh please, stop pretending. What happened today was because of high temperatures. RedBull was still 1 sec away yesterday.
And we are on for higher temperature tracks again, so dont pretent that wouldnt help
It will help, no doubt about that.

He started from 9th. So, better then he has been doing this year. He had to fight thru the pack. Always different from racing from 3rd.

From those on the pack he blatantly looses to Leclerc that with a worse car made a better race. All others were not as good as Albon
And whose fault was it that he started from 9th?? :?
I didn't comment on the poor qualifying
And that has nothing to do with what he accomplished during the race. Should he be closer to Max and the Nerds with that car? Sure! But from where he started was, in my opinion, a good race! With great moves!
And hence my first comment!

Verstappen P1 read it and weep
Way to go Red Bull - Honda =D>

Step softer tyres everywhere and higher pressures might be a 'sporting regulation' (i.e., political) change for Liberty to consider perhaps.

Everyone keeps saying temperatures played a part; it’s tyres, no?
Exactly have Soft/Medium/Hard tyres made of rubber and not Swiss cheese and it’s the usual procession.

Max won that race by his instinctive "no, I'm not going to drive like a granny" response to the team's telling him to back off. If he had done so, Max might not have won that, or at least not so easily. A good racer's call there and then. Sometimes it bites you, sometimes it gets results.

The RedBull and Ferrari both seem to be easy on the tyres compared to the Mercs. Leclerc's pace was good at the end on very old tyres.

What is so difficult to say a great race from RB and Max? What exactly do you like ? F1 or just Hamilton? Bit sad to see the usual suspects go crying here as usual. Don’t worry next week he will win (Hamilton) again in his dominant car (and yes he is a great driver).

Well, I didn't know you were talking about high temperature races only. Fair point.
