Brabham BT46B - the "fan car"

Post

Hi everyone,

I am looking for photographs displaying the exact underbody of the 1978 Gordon Murray designed Brabham BT46B, also known as the "fan car". So far, I only found pictures taken from the rear of the car, displaying the fan. However, I am curious about the exact shape of the underbody.

Could anyone help me out?

Probably not. It only ran 1 race and they were incredibly secretive about it. That said I think it was pretty much the same as other cars of the era, i.e. a flat floor pan with no underbody under the engine & gearbox.
