Perez in P2, less than 2 tenths off Max. That's good stuff!

Hopefully qualifying turns out like that. :)

Max did his time on Mediums, Perez on Soft.

I feel like this race is going to be Verstappen's to lose.

Edit- saying that, I didn't realise Sainz' lap was on mediums as well. Bravo.

Sainz showing very good form in that ferrari, faster than verstappen on like for like medium tyre. Makes me wonder what leclerc could pull off, hopefully missing fp1 wont hit him too much, but monaco is the worst place to miss practice.

Looking at Verstappen's practice start, he's still really pushing it with regard to the yellow line/pit box. I wonder if we're going to see all the other drivers following suit. I can't believe they wouldn't if it gives them a few free inches at the start and is ok with the stewards.

Max very fast. Perez a bit of the pace, allthough he did set the fastest lap overall on softs. Lewis also super quick at the very beginning and after that not particularly. So I guess they are on a differing program. Sainz on P2 got in the way of Max’ fastest lap attempt. A shame.

For some reason I don't believe that Leclerc will be in the top 10 on Saturday...

Looked like the Mercs stopped bothering with fast laps earlier than most.

Mercedes looking very composed. Sandbagging.

Looking forward to see what Charles will do in FP2

In theory Monaco is about building up pace towards qualifying. There's supposedly no point in sandbagging based on that.
