I'm not certain, but I think PhilipM had mentioned updates planned for Singapore a while back, maybe it's my imagination.
yes its true he did say that... work around the front strake area... which makes sense, compared to the other teams the Mclaren strake bib area looks very undeveloped.
I've been in Germany for a month so I haven't spoken to anyone, just got back, will see what I can find out this week.
thanks :)

I don't have a problem with the unlapping procedure etc... but when there's people moving, a car on a crane be lifted, and cars speeding past it should be red flagged.
Agreed, this was just stupid!
What I don’t understand is in the pits, take me to pick these cars up with a couple of jacks and move them in seconds

Sure, that wouldn’t be possible with accident damage, and it would probably require some kind of standard Jacking Points on cars, but these things do only weigh 3/4 of a ton, but cars could be removed so much quicker and easier
Not gonna be able to push that little cart easily on grass or gravel.

Also, it didn't take more than 2 minuites to get the car off the track. It took alot longer to get the buggy over to were the car broke down. Cause it was an isolated place covered in trees. Initially they were just gonna push it off the track but it was stuck in gear. I presume they didn't send the buggy over until it was obvious that the McLaren wasn't gonna move on it's own wheels.

Pato O'Ward , Alex Palou and Colton Herta testing. Pretty good to have them all on the track in the same time. It will be much easier to compare them.

I think we had Jack Daniels as a sponsor during the Denis era, but they left when horrible results were becoming the norm.

Glad they managed to get them back as a sponsor.

We had Johnnie Walker as a sponsor during the Ron Denis era.
They are part of the DIAGEO group.
They left us as a sponsor and went to Force India.

I have tasted Jack Daniels and assumed they were the new fuel supplier

Not sure how we can continue pushing alcohol (and energy drinks for that matter) but not cigarettes in F1.

Whilst I’m pleased we continue to attract good brands and indeed interest the American market, it would be nice to go with something else.

Anyway- that’s a whole separate debate- let’s see how we go in the future.

That would be because alcohol imbibed at sensible levels and coupled with responsible behaviour, doesn’t kill you or anyone else.

And for the vast majority of the human population, it is not addictive.

Cigarettes on the other hand, kill both the user, and those who inhale the secondhand smoke, or at the very least cause serious health problems for both.

Energy drinks… really?

Other than sugar, there is NOTHING in energy drinks that make them bad for you, when consumed in moderation

They contain less caffeine then tea & coffee and Taurine, despite popular belief, is not harmful

To be pedantic, less than coffee but three times more than tea

Soon this conversation will ban F1 because it uses Petrol and Rubber.

Zak working wonders yet again on the sponsorship front. Surely we will need to shed a couple at some point to make room 😝
