New Fusion type reactor.

How does this look overall? It seems to be simple and effective from my understanding of the tech. Super clean as well.

Thoughts on this way of generating Fusion power?

When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Compelling in its simplicity. Compare to the hugely complex laser array at the Livermore stockpile test. Optics get tricky across distances and amid gases/plasmas. Shooting a projectile to speed should be relatively easy although aiming may be a challenge. Hitting a small cube several meters away at that speed with mm precision, every few seconds. Being in vacuum helps but still the rail has to be true.
