Agreed. Was a great race and would have been a worthy end to the season. AD will, I fear, be a damp squib after Brazil's interesting race weekend.

The sprint was actually quite good fun - I did say "interesting race weekend". I thought the race was good too. There were a number of permutations going on with drivers on slightly different tyres and thus there was interest in who might / might not catch whom. A classic "chess game race" really.

Abu Dhabi is rarely ever, more exciting than Brazil. That's the point that was being made. So no matter how bad Brazil is year in and out, AD is 95% of the time even worse. Thus we really could have wrapped it all up last weekend.

Interesting you say that, I sense some season fatigue there with everybody.
I also see the new calendar as being excessive and overdriven by Liberty.

yeah, it's a race or two too much I think. But at least it finishes a bit earlier this year and not around christmas again

Start next season already, I'm ready for another epic between RB & Mercedes.

Agreed, people are forgetting Ferrari too. Just because the developments have stopped doesn't mean they aren't doing anything at all

Well they've got a big boost in analysis tool time thanks to Red Bull winning the championship and being "fined" wind tunnel / CFD time. Merc get about 20% more time than Red Bull between now and mid season 2023. Depending on standings at that point, it may or may not change in Red Bull's favour.

Already proven that more wind tunnel time doesn’t always equal performance. There are a lot of other teams with significantly more tunnel/cfd time than the front runners and they are nowhere close
