Does anyone know the RGB code of Mclaren ''rocket red'' color ?......
A quick google says:

70% Pantone 805, 23% Pantone 806, 7% Pantone Red 032

I think they used the F1 Demo car nose for this livery presentation. Looks so strange 🫣

I really like it, it's vibrant, fun and has character, I much prefer it to the standard livery.

Great news - Pato got his superlicense! There was doubt if he has enough points after this season but apparently it is enough. Very nice to finally have a real McLaren reserve driver.

Big news for McLaren, article from motorsport.com. Not much of an article though, it's breaking so more to follow.

Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

It was expected to stick with Mercedes and the safest choice. No more Honda type experiments with a new manufacturer. In greece we say that you never change something that gives you wins.

Agreed. I am quite happy they are staying with Mercedes. Only way I would be OK with a new engine manufacturer is if McLaren had some type of partnership with a "junior" team and then used that team to develop the engine. Unfortunately McLaren does not have that type of team.

I'm extremely happy to see this news today that McLaren and Mercedes have extended their powertrain contract. I am now much more relaxed in that respect.😁
It's just a matter of renewing Lando's contract.

It will be interesting to see if Lando does extend his contract.
Piastri must have known about who was going to supply McLaren for the foreseeable future when he signed his multi year deal
Just a fan's point of view

We can convince ourselves that this means Mercedes data shows good things for their 2026 engine.

But more likely it is that the team just wants stability and sees this year as proof that they can challenge Mercedes.

I confirm a similar thought. But the lack of a contract kept me on my toes. It's stable now. Lando needs to extend his contract to 2030, as I have written before.
