Always look forward to this jewel in the crown. Or is it a ketchup stain in a tin foil hat?

Monaco is the only race I don't watch live. Not getting up in the middle of the night to wait out the red flags. I'll catch the Race in 30 replay on F1TV.

these is the first race of the season for which redbull stand a chance of losing unless they use good tire wear to pit when they is a crash.

I want to know why this is Alonso’s best chance to win. Not enough long straights for Red Bull to capitalize on their speed advantage, especially with DRS during qualifying? Is that enough?

People are saying the RedBull has been running with huge qualifying compromises thus far and their true pace in low speed turns hasn't been seen. I dunno... I'm expecting a seriously different state of tune for the Bulls that will blow our minds away yet again.

they have problems warming tires over one lap in quali ,it was they same last year .ferrari on the other hand have the opposite problem quick over one lap but chew the tires over race distance.

Warm up ain’t a issue. Just do a second out lap. Seen it before with the RB’s.

Don’t worry

In a place like Monaco, there's not much time for extra laps. We're always moments away from a local yellow or a red flag.

Monaco is also more a confidence track than most other circuits. A driver who has nothing to lose can gain a lot of laptime here. Conversely, a driver who sees his shadow can lose heaps of time.

What I said didn't contradict that of course. They turn down the qualifying and are still able to get pole and dominate the race. For Monaco qualifying is king and we will see truly them pull out the stops.

Why do we have this roadshow on a racing calendar is beyond me.
Red Bull are the most cost efficient team in F1. They built 1 second advantage over the field by spending a meagre 400K USD! That's something.
