I would appreciate your help identifying this Ferrari Formula 1 carbon component.
I recently acquired this carbon rear wing element, which was described as a Ferrari F1-75 Monza 2022 component used during the Italian GP weekend.
After comparing the part with official Monza 2022 photos, I have some doubts about the exact identification. The curvature of the element and especially the mounting points seem different compared with the rear wing seen on the F1-75 at Monza.
The seller has now clarified that it was a test component used during the preparation for the Monza GP rather than the race specification.
Could anyone with knowledge of Ferrari F1 aero components help identify:
- What exact aerodynamic element this is (DRS flap, upper element, mainplane, test component, etc.)?
- Does this geometry correspond to the Ferrari F1-75 (2022)?
- Could this realistically have been fitted to the F1-75 during testing?
I attach detailed pictures of the carbon element, the mounting points and some comparison pictures from Monza 2022.
Any technical insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
