Porsche has stated that private teams were free to race the RS Spyders in 2007 in Le Mans, LMES and ALMS. So, aparently, the issue is that they have no costumers in Europe... I think that's not exactely what explain their absence at LM, but rather what they answeared when asked why they stick to LMP2 and don't give a try at LMP1 to fight Audi & Peugeot (I admit it would be nice! three way ex winners fight!).West wrote:I believe that Porsche did not want to participate in a race where their cars have no chance of winning.
