I wonder why McLaren doesn't use any of the major aero updates - 4-plane front wing (possibly useful for Hungary), sharkfin, nose winglets.
They have problem with windtunnel calibration? Maybe they update mechanical parts extensively and use aero as a disguise?

Don't assume the bodywork you see on a Thursday will be necessarily be the finished article for Sunday...

I wouldn't be amazed if they at least tried some of the new concepts.

Probably! But 4-plane wing is already two-races old, and shark-fin was revealed before German Gp.

Is it for the first time this season?

Watching FP1, the cars are much faster this year than they have been in a while -- Massa's fastest is quicker than any time set in FP1 in either 2004 or 2005

Any fresh pictures from practice? I was at "gpupdate" and title pic shows Massa's car without sharkfin, I'm confused

McLarens are running their version of the Honda dumbo wings on the nose of the car, but not the shark fin engine cover..

Looks like a Torro Rosso has stopped on track...

From this mornings practice, Lewis couldn't get the speed out of Sector 3, he's quick in S1 and S2 but S3 prevented him going top.

Practice 2 has just got under way, McLaren's currently top, Massa and Raikkonen putting in laps atm.
