The only thing that matters for Haldex is: Do they make a profit selling this product?

Probably not. It looks complex and expensive to manufacture. And how many people are willing to pay a significant cost premium just to get the benefit of better front-to-rear power split on their road car? In my opinion, it's just a vanity product that Haldex sells at a loss, just to get some media exposure.

Haldex management needs to quit listening to their marketing dept. and pay more attention to their accounting dept.

OK, but what about the technology? DO you think that it is worth investigating further with the intention of lowering costs/parts?
