It is now certain: Formula one will be travelling to China from 2004 on, to drive a grand prix in Shangai.
The new 6-year deal will be secured by Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone this weekend, and will host formula one until 2010 at the newly built 5.45 km track. It was designed by Hermann Tilke (former designer of the new Hockenheimring) estimated at $240 million and is expected to accommodate 200,000 spectators.
