Dates on articles

Post

Hi!

Can you please add a field in which the time and date of the article is written ?
Its a bit strange to see an article saying "XXX will happen tomorrow" and no info on when "today" is. :)

You're talking about a news article right?

If so, then you must not have checked the entire page. Each article has detailed information regarding its publication; including the writer, date, and exact time of submission.

That information can be found on the right hand side of the page, right below 'Todays Events'. Although maybe something should be done to make it more visible?

I hope that helps.

Hi,

yes I've noticed before not many people find this little box.

There is also a change in process to make it more clear who published it and when, either above or under the article, I'm not decided on that yet.

Ideas/suggestions welcome at all times!

Tomba, I would put it right under the title, in a different heading.

ie:

Breakaway-teams commit to FIA Championship at WMSC

Author: Principessa

All currently competing teams have committed to the FIA Formula One World Championship. There will be no alternative series or championship and the rules for 2010 onwards will be the 2009 regulations as well as further regulations agreed prior to 29 April 2009......

I had noticed this - it's just a minor thing.

I personally don't like the cluttered look of having the publication info right under the headline. For the time being, wouldn't it be good enough to switch around the content on the sidebar?

Reverse the order of 'Todays Events' with the publication information instead, so that the publication info isn't so far down.

Just my 2 cents...

More suggestions are welcome though.
