Best, Worst & Most Improved of 2009 Drivers

Post

Following from a earlier thread (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7059) about the Most & Best Developed Cars of 2009 So Far, im gonna ask the same for the drivers, but you can choose 2 drivers for each of the 4 catogories;

Best Driver: Button & Webber - Both have shown consistancy and outshone their team-mates, altho the car has let down Button as of late he is still up there as of his blistering early season form.
Others: Vettel

Best For Equiptment: Alonso & Sutil - Alonso on the front of the grid twice (China & Hungary) as well as Fastest in Nurburgring, in the best of the poor cars. Sutil has just set massivly impressive laps in the VJM/2, and his wet pace has shown this as well.
Others: Massa, Hamilton & Kimi

Worst Driver: Bourdais & Piquet - Bourdais sacked is enough proof, and Piquet not quite yet, they have been liabilities, out shone by their team mates, one a double world champ (tough competition i know) and the other by a rookie.
Others: Nakajimma, Heildfeld, Kovalinen

Most Improved: Rosberg & Glock - Both germans have shown strong Quali and race performances, enough to show me that they are strong contenders for the future, personally i think a team with well equiped resources should snap them up, im thinking BMW Sauber or Renault here, build a car arround them and win races and posibly champoinships.
Others: None

Heidfeld has beaten Kubica to the finish line in 7 of the 10 races, he should not be on the "worst" list and if he is Kubica should be on there ahead of him.

And the qualifying is 5 all.

Heidfeld is ahead on points and has the team's only podium

and has costs the team less money in engine repairs

I really hope Sutil gets some points before the end of the year, he deserves it but he seems to have become very unlucky recently. I was heartbroken when Kimi hit his car in Germany.

Best drivers: Button & Webber - without a doubt those too.

Best for equipment: Sutil & Hamilton

Worst Driver: Piquet & Barichello - Barichello just hasnt been putting in the lap times where needed, then he wonders why he ends up where he is. Blaming the car doesnt work, granted the BGP001 has become worse but Button was putting in the times and Barichello just wasnt.

Most Improved: Sutil & Alonso (thats more to do with the car)

I knew it was going to happen, I dunno why. As I was watching him go around, I was thinking "I bet Raikkonen will do a Monaco, or something like that would happen" I don't know why, but I just knew them two would have another incident again, and it did!

I think someone's just been taken off their facebook friends list, just been taken off the tweet stream, just been taken out of their .....well all that web 2.0 social stuff etc etc..

Best: Alonso, Button

Worst: Nakajima, Piquet

Most improved: Aguelsari (sp) finishing 15th after barely driving a car, not bad :D

In all simplicity, I am deeply impressed with Mark Webber, considering his more serious than we knew bicycle accident, just weeks before season's beginning, directly competing with someone hailed as a wunderkind of our time.

Still instantly up to speed and on par with his team-mate.

best - webber, button - button for his flawless early season drives and putting rubens in his rightful number 2 spot, webber for his great injury comeback and outpointing the wonderkid so far, best drive of the season of anyone in the nurburgring

worst - piquet, bourdais, barrichello - piquet and bourdais need no explaining, barrichello has been highly disappointing for me and isn't maximizing the car like button is, deserves his status as the brawn no. 2

best in bad car - alonso, hamilton, massa - alonso really showing he is truly the class of the field alongside hamiltron with some solid performances, extremely unlucky not to get a podium in hungary. massa also really impressed maximizing the car on more than 1 occassion

Best: Webber, Rosberg and Button haven't made any mistakes all season.

Best for the Equipment: Rosberg and Hamilton

Worst: Piquet and Kovalainen

Most Improved: Sutil.......Button and Webber? That's just the car;they've always been quality drivers.
Best regards. I guess this explains why I'm not at my post!

Best: Button and a tie between Vettel and Webber, that's the easy one.
Best for Equipment: Massa and Alonso
Worst: Kovalainen and Piquet
Most Improved: Button and Raikkonen!

and a new category:

I read somewhere that Sutil used to be considered lazy by the team. I wonder if he is working harder, and getting results, or just a better car?
