Could Schumacher or Alonso replace Massa?

Post

The inevitable rumours have already begun circulating that if a temporary replacement for Massa is required, then that could involve Michael Schumacher..

Lauda quoted a short time ago tipping Schumacher for the job..

I would say Bourdais will replace Massa. Hes got the training, the manager (Nicolas Todt??) and the hunger... and is looking for revenge after STR put him out for a couple of bucks.

No offence to Schumacher, but its been a while since he's drove an F1 car, and I personally beleive he will be way off the pace.

Remember when Mika was contemplating a come back, he was almost 2 seconds of the pace in testing!

Would be good to see Montoya in the car!

While Michael Schumacher has not been as extreme as he was in the past about his training he should be more than adequate to drive Massa's car for some races. It is only 15 months that he was competitive in testing. I would love to see him back but I doubt that he or Ferrari will do such a thing. He has been very consistent in his post retirement life and done what he said he would do.

Since Renault have been suspended from Valencia, maybe Alonso could get some practice laps in with his future team. [-X

I would think that the change is higher that Alonse already take the jumps then Bourdais in a Ferrari.
