They repete them once and only once now. Other than that BBC iPlayer, and if youve done what ive done, connect my TV to my Computer, just open a new web window and drag it over to the TV and watch it on that.

Probably pressure from the wee man.

And also the fact that teams may be watching the sessions over and over again and picking up too much info on other cars/teams setups via freeze frame and zoom ins.

conspiracy theories.
I doubt teams have time to watch TV on a GP weekend. Maybe the engineers back home. And why would they have to see the cars on TV (not even HD)? The cars are right there. They can just walk around the starting grid to spy on other cars.

Word is BBC are running out of budget for F1, not a good sign after not even a full season if that's true. :(

You can record endless replays on Sky if you are keen. It should be easy for teams to record it if I can. It is more likely a lack of viewers.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

I heard they've already run out of money for it and that they're trying to outsource the production of the program, perhaps to NorthOne, the company that did the ITV production for the few years previous.

Quite how that would save them money, I don't know, but obviously they should know, so..

Anyway, on topic : It will mostly be put down to limited time available on the Red Button. If you have Freeview, especially, it is very difficult (almost impossible) to get the full range of options the BBC offer on a regular basis. There have been many other sporting events (World Athletics, Ashes cricket, Swimming etc) at the recent races so I can guess that perhaps this is partly why the sessions are not being replayed so often.

Today, I noticed in the evening, the 2nd practice session was being replayed, so it does happen sometimes.

Also you can watch the sessions on the BBC F1 site, albeit in very poor quality..

You can't record Red Button content, at least you can't with Virgin Media.
