andy shovlin holds a Ph.D in engineering from an english university
but , for me , one of the greatest things about F1 is that , if you have the talent , you can work your way to the most senior positions ; you don't have to look far to find examples of people who started on the shop floor , so to speak ...a true meritocracy
if only that were true everywhere !
