Welcome to the forum sportso94. We have a lot of very knowledgeable members here with a great deal of knowledge that are happy to answer any questions you might have. Can I speak frankly about your request?
Several F1 teams read F1Technical. We have had F1 team employees as members, at least one, ended up fired, because an F1 team thought posting here was a conflict of interest.I don't think any member who is a team employee would want to jeopardize their job. I don't think you would want to see anyone fired. Imagine if one of your parents came home and told you they had lost a job because they participated on a forum. Started corresponding with forum members. Everything is confidential that relates to a job. Cruel world out there unfortunately. Kinda a big bowl of 'not so good'. But there's a lot to learn from reading through F1Technical's threads. There's so many fascinating subjects, ideas and opinions. There's no shortcuts to research. A little scholar-ism. Not quick. It takes time. There's also a sticky topic for students with a lot of good stuff listed. I have a couple of F1 engineering type of books, that cover just about every part of an F1 car. PM me if you would like the PDFs.
EDIT: Here's the Engineering Students Resource thread:
