Why is Ferrari on the "Sporting" edge? Aren't they there for the long term? Besides, if they are there for the sporting bit, they can't be there for the long term, according to the chart.

And promotion is the opposite of technical? So if Red Bull is here for promotion only, they have a crappy technical side

very nice graph,
Did you put Ferrari in red coulour because they are anti sportsmans?
I think they should be more in the long term - promotion edge.
I think RedBull is placed right because they try to sell a drink so they don't have to care about any technical developement. You could put Benetton there also.

Is there perhaps a chart available to explain that graph?

The colours are as close as I could get to team colours, just to make them more prominent. The positioning of the teams could be seen as their... Ethos? Their aspirational goals? How they are or how they like to be seen/see themselves. In some cases it is quite hard to put a mark near one goal as it makes them further from another. The vertical axis is kind of the inevitable outcome of running a race. To achieve a sporting outcome operations will have to be undertaken, but where are peoples priorities or expertise? The Horizontal axis is more technology VS promotion they are not mutually exclusive, but are different disciplines that can be seen to be at odds with each other.
