5 Malaysian Grand Prix

6 British Grand Prix

On-track Moment of the Year

1 Abu Dhabi Win for Sebastian

The Ferrari tactics, Mark's brush with the barrier, Michael's crash... Seb's fairytale finale to the final race was your most memorable moment of 2010.

2 The Monaco 1-2

It was good wasn't it? The qualifying session, the threat of Robert's Renault on the grid, Seb's start, Mark's mastering the serpentine streets of Monte Carlo. Oh, and the whole team jumping in the Energy Station swimming pool.

3 Webber v Hamilton in Singapore

Mark wrestled this one, didn't he? While Alonso was pencilled in for the win and Seb was snapping at his heels, Mark was the personification of Aussie grit - none more so than on lap 35 when Hamilton had a go, but Mark shut - actually slammed - the door on him, ending the Briton's night race. We cheered. Nicole Scherzinger did not.

4 Sebastian Vettel's Championship Reaction

Seb had no idea when he crossed the line in Abu Dhabi that he was likely to come away world champion. It took his engineer to count out the result behind him and... you know the rest. The tears, the raw emotion pouring out of a 23-year-old driver who had won a world title against the odds. It leaves a lump in your throat, even now.

5 Alonso v Petrov

If it wasn't the Russian blocking the Spaniard's path, it was Alonso's less than friendly hand gesture after the race. But, in hindsight, it was... well, vaguely amusing if you weren't a Ferrari fan, although it seemed more like a miracle at the time.

6 Sebastian's Surge Through the Field in Silverstone

Do you know what was dull last year? People claiming Sebastian could only win from pole (!), and was incapable of overtaking. The British Grand Prix should have put paid to that. After his brush with Hamilton Seb went to the back of the queue and then spent an afternoon scything through the pack to secure seventh. So... he can't overtake?

7 Mark's Flying Visit To Valencia

A slower Lotus + a desire to overtake + a rather quick RB6 = one of the most spectacular crashes in the last few seasons. Best of all, however, Mark walked away from the European Grand Prix with only a few bruises and a few less championship points than he deserved.

8 The Brazilian Grand

Ah, Interlagos. It was the morning after Jenson's hijacking the night before and it was the day we silenced our critics, demonstrated that fair play is rewarded and erased memories of our Mokpo nightmare. Winning our first world championship. How good was that?

9 Mark's Tactics in Hungary

Seb looked like securing a victory, but a Safety Car and split tactics gave Mark the advantage in Budapest at our 100th race. It meant we lead the tables going into the summer break and got some great podium celebration shots.

10 Sebastian's Pitstop in Monza

If ever there was a demonstration that the drivers rely on their pit crew and strategists as much as their cars to win races then Italy was it. Seb basically went race distance on his starting set of tyres, before pitting with a lap to go to secure a fourth place from sixth on the grid. This one is dedicated to our mechanics who mastered that last-gasp pitstop - world champions to a man.

Button being the first McLaren driver to register a victory in 2010. What would have been the odds on that one?

Oh, my.

Fan awards.

The stultification of F1 is now complete.

Even the script and the words for the descriptions of races follow Hollywood style.

What now? Let me guess: Discovery Kids Driver of the Year. I cannot wait for that one. Bring them on, fanboys! We're thrilled... At last somebody tells us what to think, no more waste of neurons (it's not as we have some to spare).

Suggestion: what if we start to sell Mark & Zeb action figures at Kid Robots? Oh... and what about the movie and then the series? Or should it be the other way?

"Mark & Zeb", good, solid name. Or should it be the other way around? "Zeb & Mark"? What do you think? Mmmmm... though one.
