Following some reports team Jaguar failed to deliver a car that was capable of whitstanding the crashtests prescribed by the FIA. The problem would have been with the side impact test.

This hamper might show that Jaguar will be again starting a season of problems. The first problem with last year's R3 was the front wing, and it was a very bad sign for their season... no matter what, this will be a slowdown in the development for Jaguar :shock:

I'd have to disagree with you Tomba...for the last 2 years (2001 and 2002) Jaguar have had ridgity/torsional problems with the pick up points front the suspension....this problem was also noticed on the 2001 BAR.

The Jaguar problem was basicly down to a new way of building the monocoque....it made the monocoque lighter....but more torsional.

That was the basic problem....but I also agree htat they did have a front wing problem for te first couple of races....but it was solved....well....not quite...since the monocoque was still flexing....it's hard to say if the problem was solved.
