Say have a set of say 5 or 7 weekends where the 6 or 8 best drivers from the previous season in NASCAR, F1, IRL, Le Mans and WRC raced in a spec car that is fully race prepaired to be crowned the "Best driver in the World" that year. Id think that a callander like this could be set up;

April: IRL - Barber Motorsports Park
May: Le Mans - Portamao
June: F1 - Magney Cours (2 year old cars to be used here)
August: WRC - UK (Using a spec Skoda Fabia or something small like a VW Polo)
September: NASCAR - Datona

Drivers in each series must drive their own teams car, and lots drawn for their car in other series.

Points system used would be that naitive to each series as well.

Good idea, I think Räikkönen is thinking the same thing and getting in some training. He's about to tick off racing/driving, 3 out of 5.

It may be fronted by Mobil 1, but remember that Mclaren are providing their SECU and fuel systems to NASCAR from 2012 as well.

Thanks for the update. I love the first pic on that article, Lewis has that 'what the hell are you doing? you won't fit in there' face and Tony is like 'I sure hope carbon fibre is as strong as they say...'
And they didn't help matters by not removing the cockpit protection thing.
