As part of its Roadshow programme, the ING Renault Formula One Team is preparing to offer a unique demonstration on the streets of the city of Kiev on the 21st of September: a first for the team in Ukraine.

After Johannesburg and Rotterdam earlier this summer, the ING Renault F1 Team now heads to Eastern Europe where the streets of the Ukrainian capital will echo to the sound the team's Formula 1 cars.

On a 1.2km track especially designed for this occasion in the heart of Kiev, the ING Renault F1 Team hopes to give the public a unique experience of Formula 1 in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Romain Grosjean and Sakon Yamamoto, the team's test drivers, will be the men behind the wheel of the R27 for what promises to be an unforgettable event attended by a large number of spectators.

"I am very happy to be going to Kiev for this demonstration," said Romain Grosjean. "I have never been to Ukraine and I think the atmosphere promises to be very special. I will do my best to make it an unforgettable day for the public who don't have a Grand Prix in their country."

Sakon Yamamoto added: "As a racing driver, driving through the town in a Formula 1 car is something that feels extraordinary and I hope that the Ukrainian public will enjoy this event and seeing the R27. I will do my best to entertain them and I have no doubt that it will be a truly exceptional day."
