Not three but five candidates for Toro Rosso seat says Bourdais
Scuderia Toro Rosso driver Sebastien Bourdais hinted that not three but five drivers are in the running for a seat at the Faenza-based outfit in 2009. At Barcelona, Bourdais, Takuma Sato and Sebastien Buemi tested for the team in a sort of shoot-out, but according to the Frenchman there are 2 other drivers in the picture.
Bourdais said in an interview with 'formula1.com': "There were three drivers in Barcelona, but Barrichello is on the list and Senna as well. So anybody who has got talent and money today is a potential candidate."
