The organisers of the 2010 British Grand Prix at Donington Park aim to organise the first race without cars in the car park during the weekend. The F1 fans will be asked to travel by bus, train or airplane.

During an open day Simon Gillett, Chief Executive of Donington Ventures Leisure Ltd, said: "This will be the first public transport Grand Prix. We are not bringing cars here. We are looking to use public transport from all the major conurbations, the airport and the Parkway station."
