Branson would be recieved with open arms - Ecclestone
FOM boss Bernie Ecclestone has given his thoughts concerning the possible entry of the Virgin Group into Formula One, through the purchase of the ex-Honda F1 team. Richard Branson heads Virgin and is an extreme sports enthusiast, which would benefit the sport says Ecclestone.
Ecclestone told 'The Mirror': "We would welcome them with open arms. He's exactly the type of person we would want in the sport. Sir Richard Branson is a wonderful guy. I met him at Monza last year and we got on very well."
