Teixeira was one of the interested Honda buyers
A1GP CEO Tony Teixeira has admitted to 'autosport' that he was one of the few people interested in purchasing the Honda F1 team within the last few weeks. But due to the current financial strain in the economy taking over an expensive F1 team was not viable, thus he let the deal get away. His plans for an F1 team continue though, mainly in order to provide a seat for A1GP graduates.
