It's not the first time they've lied to the stewards - Alonso

Yesterday, Fernando Alonso has responded to the new McLaren saga which broke loose after the Australian Grand Prix. Alonso hit out at his former team and said that it was not the first time that the Woking-based outfit lied to the stewards.

Alonso said to Spanish reporters in Malaysia: "It reminded me of 2007 (In Hungary Alonso lost the championship after receiving a penalty in favour of Hamilton). It's not the first time they've been to see the stewards, and it's not the first time they have lied to the stewards and, sooner or later, they were going to be punished. I read about it on Thursday in the hotel, because I was there all day. I switched on the computer and read it. Every time there are decisions taken against other teams you don't care too much and, in this case, it didn't change the result for me so it didn't affect me too much."
